Dear husband of mine,
I wondered how my basement would look.
Thank you so much for finishing the fabulous basement renovation. The progress was slow and the timeline was long, but the results are more than I could have ever dreamed. I’ll show off two of my favourite rooms here.
Walking into my new home gym…
and here it is…
check out the door on the left…
and that’s the door to my Christmas room…
what Mom wouldn’t want to have this lovely room with hardwood floor to store all the seasonal decorations?

Thanks for all your hard work and the talent you have to make it so nice to look at in addition to being usable. And for letting me ask why it takes so long, and you answering (kindly, most times) about all the steps it takes and trying to be kind as you head off to the hardware store one more time. I do know it’s tough work – it’s just so hard to wait. It looks wonderful. Thanks again!!
With love, workingtechmom
Wow, you are loved!
That’s a great home gym! Enjoy!
Excellent work – love the polka dots on the walls! (Are they still polka dots if they’re that big?) Personal enlightenment question, and it can wait for hubby to answer – what are the wiring requirements for your building code? Conduit, armoured cable, or Romax? (And yes, I realise that was all just gibberish to you, sorry! 20 years of doing wiring side-by-side with my dad has left some marks!
)
Aw didn’t he do a nice job? If only we all could have such handy husbands. Does he make house calls to Ohio?
Anonymous – Where are you at in Ohio? Anywhere near the Coshocton area? (That’s where I’m at – if I’m close, maybe I could be of service?)
