Left Neglected

Left Neglected
“Left Neglected” by Lisa Genova – I read this book and was really taken by the thought of what life would be like if you had this bizarre condition.  The person in the story had brain damage that resulted in her not being able to “see the left half”.  When she looked at a room in front of her, she could only see the right side.  If she turned her head to the left, she could then see the right half of the left side of the room.

Just spend 5 minutes thinking of all the things that would impact in your normal daily life.  Quite astonishing how much we take for granted that we can see both sides of everything we look at.

Enjoy everything you see on your left today!

  2. I’ll try this exercise in the morning! I love every reminder I can get that, while some things might be difficult, I have a lot to be grateful for 🙂
