Thursday Tech Talk – Where’s the Bus?

Enterprise Service Bus

An enterprise service bus (ESB) is a software architecture model used for designing and implementing the interaction and communication between mutually interacting software applications in Service Oriented Architecture.

Doesn’t that sound exciting?  Well, it is if you are a techie and want one system to talk to another system and you want the interactions to be easy to change.

Flexible, scalable, standard, secure – all great goals for a bus, whether it’s one you use for travel or one your data takes a ride on.
